Who handles your data

What data I collect and why
I only collect data if you ask for the welcome voucher in the quiz or write to me through the contact form. If you ask for the voucher, I store:
- the mobile number or email you give;
- the quiz answers: your traveller profile, who you usually travel with, when you plan to travel and your budget per person;
- the date and number of the voucher generated.
I use this data to generate the voucher, link it to you, confirm that only you use it and contact you about your trip. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box before generating the voucher and which you can withdraw at any time.
If you take the quiz and do not ask for the voucher, your answers are not stored.
Contact form
If you write to me through the Quick contact form, I store your name, the mobile number or email you give, what you are looking for, the message you write, if you write one, and the site language. I use this data to reply and follow up on your request. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box before sending and which you can withdraw at any time. After you send, WhatsApp opens with the message ready, which is only sent if you send it yourself.
If you send the quiz or form message through WhatsApp, I receive your number and the text you send. Processing carried out by WhatsApp itself follows that platform’s rules.
Site statistics
The site uses Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to measure visits and use of the quiz. These services use cookies and identifiers from your browser and are only loaded if you accept in the cookie notice. Your choice is stored in your browser for 12 months and you can change it at any time under Cookie preferences, in the footer. These services do not receive your mobile number or your email.
Site language
The site stores the language you choose in your browser, so it does not ask again. This information stays on your device only and is not sent to any service.
Where it is stored and for how long
The voucher data is kept in a Google spreadsheet that only I can access. I keep that data for up to 12 months after the voucher expires. If you become a client, the booking data is handled separately, to meet the legal obligations of the activity.
Contacts from the form are kept in a Google spreadsheet and in my contact records in Notion, both accessible only to me. These contacts are kept for up to 24 months after the last contact, if you do not become a client. Google and Notion may process data outside the European Economic Area, under the safeguards provided by law.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection to processing. You can also withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what was done before. Just write to latitude.n.travel@gmail.com. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Portuguese National Data Protection Commission, CNPD (cnpd.pt).
